  1. God Is.

  2. E-Dawg,
Did you see that Sweet Comfort Band is planning a reunion tour?

  3. on my way to my grandfather’s viewing. I so don’t want to go to this…I have been told that tomorrow’s funeral service will be preformed by the masonic temple and the Jehovah witness….oh boy.

some memories are starting to surface that I am fighting so hard to not remember….

I am finding nothing but fear, anger and bitterness in my heart toward this man. God please help me.

  4. Oh Dusters…I know so much what that is like…praying for you…please God heal Dusty and help her. You are the only One who can.

  5. CK, I had heard about it a while ago. I believe part of the tour was to generate $$ to help out Kevin. If that is true I hope they direct those funds to his wife.

I’ve been watching a few of the old clips online and as long as Bryan’s voice is the same I’ll bet these will be awesome concerts.

  6. Dusty, I’m so sorry. Praying for you.

  7. Dusty, praying that God gives you a strong sense of just Whose you really are today

  8. Dusty, praying for you.

  9. Hi, Dusty,

    Prayers are ascending for you.

  10. Oh Dusty, I am so sorry you have to go through this. Praying for you today.

  11. Hopefully this will lighten some of our moods while we pray for Dusters:

Just had a customer come into the store wanting to sell a box of collectible beer steins.

Big suckers. Easily a pint to two pints volume capacity.

In going through the box…there was one particular large beer stein that caught my eye…

It is from the “Artist of Light”…

An official Thomas Kinkade Beer Stein…classic! 8)

I think I’m going to keep it and have a Kokanee Glacier Beer out of it after work today πŸ™‚

  12. Thomas Kincade, the painter of light..beer.

Dusty, may you be comforted by our Lord, who created everyone and will receive glory from EVERYONE…

  13. Erunner,

Kevin’s memorial service is Wednesday at 1 at CC Costa Mesa, with a reception following at Mariner’s Church.

  14. It’s open blogging so I can indulge my other passion today.

Most of you who are my Facebook friends know that I am following the situation in Juarez, Mexico very closely.

Holly has used the word obsession about my interest and she’s probably right.

Yesterday I obtained a book that had been almost impossible to get, Charles Bowdens “Juarez, A Laboratory of Our Future.”

Bowden wrote the book in 1998 and he chronicled the violence and mayhem in Juarez then….and stated that far worse was coming because of the economic and social conditions that had been exacerbated by NAFTA and the drug market.

This year he has written two other books that chronicle the hundred fold increase in violence since he write the first book.

Yesterday, 85 people were murdered throughout Mexico and almost that many bodies discovered from previous executions according to one paper.

The numbers are staggering, the pictures are from hell…and we’re pretending it has nothing to do with us.

Our neighbor to the south is collapsing…and the wave of terror is headed our way.

Bowden prophesied correctly a dozen years ago about the future of Juarez…and he prophecies that it is our future as well.

We would do well to become informed…this ain’t just about immigration anymore.

  15. Praying for you Dusty!

  16. “We would do well to become informed…this ain’t just about immigration anymore.”

    Agreed.

  17. “…this ain’t just about immigration anymore.” True, but those of us in AZ can’t help but fear the constant stream of illegals slinking past the sajuaros.

  18. CK…I think Michael meant that we’ve got serious problems coming…

  19. I get it, Believe. Just wanted to add my own spin.

  20. CK,

I understand…The thing I’m trying to help people understand is the gravity of the issues…and that the real issues haven’t even been addressed in our media or by our government.

The day will soon come when the only way to stop the migration is through war…because we can’t see why those people are coming in waves in the first place.

  21. Dusty…praying for you today….

  22. I’ve wanted the book I referenced earlier for some time…but it was 250.00 for a copy from Amazon if you could get it at all.

Last week I looked and for some reason there was a new copy for 30.00 so I pounced on it hoping it was legit.

it was…and today a new copy of the same book is 301.00 on Amazon…

God is good…and he wants me to know this stuff.

Now i just have to figure out why…

  23. Dusty praying.

  24. Praying, Dusty.

  25. From Mark Driscoll’s Facebook page:

    http://ow.ly/i/1ZlN

I truly have seen everything, now.

  26. Ah, sister Dusty, you will be in my thoughts and prayers for God’s strength and His Eyes in this situation.

How amazing that GOD brought you to Himself and KEPT you, in spite of the enemy’s attempts to destroy and/or deceive you !!!

  27. Why is an assault against an elderly person deserving of more punishment than an assault against anyone else? The laws have gotten stupid…

  28. If the guy gets off, they’ll have to make a new federal crime of “assault with a frozen dog.”

  29. Dusters-

    Prayers ascending, dear one.

I, too, had my family split when I was a child when 1 grandmother & 1 aunt & uncles’ family became Jehovah’s Witnesses. I can relate..

Later, one of the uncles & his wife were seen smoking, and then were ostracized by the JW’s. They had to sit in the basement of the “Kingdon Hall’ & watch the service on closed circuit TV, and no one was allowed to talk to them.

  30. I’ll be praying for you Dusty……

Today is one of those days where I am reminded of part of the reason why I live here. Temps in the high 60’s and a good breeze, deep blue skies against a dark green canvas of the forest amid the snow in the higher elevations.

  31. Buster, it’s cuz it’s harder for us to duck?

  32. Michael’s #16 is a worry to the legal Latino residents, also – they keep a low profile for good reason as they are forced to live with these bad guys among them here, but Mexican Americans are very resentful of what is happening from what i pick up here and there.
Am i the only one that senses that our ‘elected’ government has more to do with keeping the voters at bay than it does with protecting and defending?

  33. Mexican Americans and Americans in general are being fed false information by our media. Those of Mexican descent who are informed are against illegal immigration and many are offended by those coming across our borders the past 7+yrs, La Raza and Azatlan mindsets and entitlement. For those of you who don’t know what these mindsets are… the Southwestern US belongs to and needs to be returned to Mexico…Mexican consulate has recently opened another office, this one off of CA coast on Catalina to provide picture ID’s to illegal immigrants…so they can obtain driver’s licenses, open bank accts, process home loan papers ect. The island is a major staging area for drug/people trafficking…and our government is in alignment w them. The Southwestern states, with state taxpayers coin, educate young students w La Raza and Azatlan POV and how their race is superior than all things American. (Arizona being an enlightened exception)
Juarez is the open beginning point. and Michael, it’s tenacles reach far into all of our states’ governments’ but the fear of being labeled a RAAAACIST shuts mouths in state capitals.

I pray more in power speak out…more in Sacramento are at least beginning to quietly talking w one another… if more is not done soon we in CA and AZ will understand how the Israelis’ dodging missiles feel…

  34. http://www.eluniversal.com.mx/notas/687240.html
The nation experiences most violent day of Presidential term
In what constitutes the most violent day since the current federal
administration began the frontal battle as a strategy to defeat
organized crime, 85 people lost their lives in acts directly related
to the settling of scores between rival groups, confrontations, and
    executions with high caliber weapons.
The record of homicides associated with crime, according to El
Universal’s count, was held on November 3, 2008, when 58 people lost
their lives. between Thursday night and yesterday, 38 executions
occurred in Chihuahua, 20 in Tamaulipas, 5 in Guerrero, and six in
Sinaloa. Murders were also recorded in San Luis Potosi, Baja
California, Durango, Morelos, Jalisco, Queretaro, the Federa District,
    state of Mexico and Nayarit.
In the city of Chihuahua, a group of assassins broke into an addiction
treatment center and literally blew-away 19 patients.
According to witnesses, the criminals rang the bell and identified
themselves to the doorkeeper as federal police, telling him they were
there to conduct a search. One inside, they forced the nearly 30
patients to lie face down on the ground and they sprayed them with
    bullets.
Another 19 murders were reported in Cd. Juarez, victims included a
Captain and two agents of the Municipal Secretary of Public Safety,
who guarded property siezed from presumed narcos.
In Cd. Valles, San Luis Potosi, 6 college students on their way to a
party in a Chevrolet truck were caught in the middle of a shoot-out
between 2 groups of gunmen, 2 of the youths were killed and 4 suffered
    critical wounds.
In Cd. Madero, Tamaulipas, 20 bodies were discovered, among them those
of 2 women, executed and with indications of having been tortured. The
victims, who turned up in 5 locations throught the city, were presumed
members of the crime group called Los Alacranes.

    In Juarez yesterday;

A total of 7 people were killed yesterday in Juarez—A group of men
drinking in the street in the colonia Francisco Sarabia were surprised
by an armed commando that killed two and injured 3 of them. Five men
were killed earlier in the day.
The total for the month of June is now about 74; for the year, 1,162
according to the tally I’m keeping.

So…if the choice is to live in Juarez making 5.00 a day in American owned factories when the cost of living is 90% of that of America herself…if every day your life is in danger and the police, the army, and the government are as dangerous as the drug lords…if you leave or die…what would you do?

  35. Let me get more specific…if our country has helped create this hell on earth through our economic policies and our lust for drugs what responsibility do we have to these people?

  36. Michael…what do you believe helps our Mexican neighbors more…treating the symptoms or cutting out the cancer?

  37. Michael, speaking for myself, i understand your point and you are correct: most of us would do our best to get out of there, too, i think – these people didn’t create the problem
but the ‘problem’ is a chilling, and growing danger to our whole hemisphere’s law and order
and the sheriff seems to have left town – everywhere

  38. Believe,

Most people would disagree with me as to what the cancer is.

The cancer is our corporate greed that enslaves people in factories with no way to support themselves or care for their children, that doesn’t care that those factories spew out unregulated toxins that poison both the land and the people on it, and leaves the drug trade or getting across the border as the only means of survival.

We consume billions of dollars of a product then blame the people that produce it.

We have helped create a literal hell…and we want to blame it on bad guys and drug pushers…because we don’t dare look reality in the face.

  39. Em,

I’ve been there…I stood in filth and shook…told Holly that if I would have been born there it would have taken more than one bullet to keep me from crossing over for my family…and that was before the place exploded.

There are no sheriffs left my friend, only politicians.

The Apocalypse may indeed be upon us.

  40. Michael great questions that need to be asked.

I have no clue and any opinion I might try to formulate right now is worthless.

I am all ears and willing to learn in order to be prepared how to fulfill my obligation to love.

  41. Michael, i think i disagree; if by ‘we’ you mean the average man is aware and lots are fac ing dire straights north of the border, too – if you turn the clock back what? – 150+ years corporate greed was killing Anglos, too – who or what turned that around? Could it be done today?

  42. Trey just informed me that I have that “crazy look” again…time to go to the skatepark. πŸ™‚

  43. I agree with you…only I add to the list the corruption in the Mexican Government and the Drug Cartels…and the corruption in our own Government…as part of the cancer.

We have to reform the country in the areas you mention…as well as uphold the rule of law.

The two are not mutually exclusive. It’s an all of the above.

Of course the preeminent reality is that God is in control…and if He wills, it will be done.

  44. vic,

Read either of Bowdens books that came out this year or Google “Charles Bowden” and read his articles.

Then ask God what your heart should be….thank you for listening, I’m on a crusade and can be a real pain in the butt. πŸ™‚

  45. Believe,

    I agree completely…excellent points.

  46. Em,

We are facing dire straits and we have real concerns…the biggest being that the same people that ruined that country are running ours.

I’m quite serious when I say that to me this situation could be a harbinger of the end.

  47. One more thing because Trey is pulling on my arm…to fix this would require an extinct species…the statesman.

  48. “corporate greed” = The pursuit of and attainment of productivity and profitability without conscience. We (and most especially our brothers and sisters down south) are incurring the opportunity costs of such decisions.

  49. Michael, will read some of Bowden’s articles. Thanks. This is something worth looking at and looking after for the long haul. Go trade that “crazy look” for the “frightened look” of the skate park while Trey is able to freely smile as he traverses the skate park. πŸ™‚

  50. On a more hopeful note, check out this video of Hungarian youth celebrating the reality and impact of the Resurrection

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5dSIL358NM.

  51. i remember when i was a kid in Southern California (100 years ago) charter boats would go out for albacore (fresh albacore is right up there with fresh salmon) – they were fairly large, kind of like scows and carried a crowd – as many as could line up on the rails. I seem to remember more than one tragedy when one side of the boat got hot and the folks on the other side ran to where the fish were biting and capsized the boat. There’s a lesson in there somewhere…

do you ever wonder … just pondering … if it might not be better for them to take that bullet fighting for reform in their own country? La Libertad o muerte in Mexico ? ? ?

i’m assuming Michael is out in the fresh air by now – but he is correct that we’re watching an evil metastasizing – the economy is about to cure itself of consumerism and we can’t eliminate the drug addicts, but maybe we could get over the idea that drug use is an option to a dull life πŸ˜•

  52. Victorious, thank you, thank you thank you for that youtube link – just what i needed – CELEBRATE the resurrection

maybe Dusty can design a flag for us all to fly on resurrection Sunday next (instead of the national flag of Hungary, eh?) or Grendal could and Dusty Ross can sew it? πŸ˜†

  53. “corporate greed” a true entity and yet i and many of us ‘evil’ capitalists employ and support many w the ability to do good in the world… out of all of the ‘isms’, at least capitalism tends to reward merit/effort. unfortunately “greed” still allows some choice and it does (however slowly) raises the standard of living for more individuals than socialism or communism has historically if the head is immoral, there is not much anyone can do to be safe…

Mexico’s political history has always been corrupt at all levels…everyone must ‘get’ their share at the local up to the federal it has recently taken a completely corrupted turn of late…no honor even among the thieves!

The difference between the American and French Revolution is that we acknowledged a Creator, the French were Liberterian and did not want to include the Judeo/Christian precepts and chose to believe man would choose well…they didn’t and why the streets ran w blood

and Em…my impression is that the masses ‘community organized’ w/in our inner cities and dependent and more scheduled to become dependent rely on mood alteration as part of their daily lives…and the suburbs are dulled w all sorts of distractions apart from day to day real life interactions

2003 Argentina defaulted…it is a country constructed very much like our cities and suburbs they did survive but w preparation

i am NO conspiracy theorist…hey, i’m Asian lol but i understand Michael’s concerns

  54. for the record: capitalism should not be equated with corporation greed – in fact i think, incorporation has shielded capitalism from it’s natural virtues

  55. Grendal, πŸ˜€ – Snoopy’s making me dizzy, tho – falling down old people isn’t good

  56. Na’amah, absolutely with you on your assessment of the French Revolution – it’s hard for angry people to produce good without a fear of God

  57. Vic, I second the thanks for your video. It really, really cheered me up today.

  58. Pat Robertson on flirting:

CO-HOST: Pat, this is from Anne who says, β€œMy husband has always been a flirt and loves to talk with other women he finds attractive. He says he would never cheat on me but his actions are starting to get to me. What should I do?”

ROBERTSON: Anne, first thing is you need to make yourself as attractive as possible and don’t hassle him about it. And why is he doing this? Well, he’s doing it because he wants affirmation that he is still a man, that he is attractive β€” and he gets an affirmation of himself. That means he’s got an inferiority complex that’s coming out. And he’s not gonna cheat on you. He’s just playing.
But you need to not drive him away or start hassling and hounding on him, but make yourself as beautiful as you can, as fun as you can, and say let’s go out here, let’s go there, let’s go to the other thing.

    http://rawstory.com/rs/2010/0612/pat-robertson-tells-woman-attractive-stop/

  59. Just to clarify…I was in quite the state when I talked to Holly about this …I wouldn’t leave Trey or expose myself to danger foolishly.

I do want to go down on the border and up on the bridge and see this for myself…talk to the people…walk in the dirt and hear the stories.

  60. Michael… PLEASE only if our Father provides you w a handwritten invitation move to Juare! You (and anyone connected/affiliated to you) will be an absolute target by many! There are too few here paying attention and educating themselves and then others in our nation of what is actually transpiring.

I am saying there is movement (feeble in my opinion) w/in CA, AZ, TX, NM and CO government and the perspective court systems to finally acknowledge what there is to ‘see’. I only pray it is soon enough before US citizens die.

You are NOT being an alarmist… but listen to Trey and enjoy the sunshine ok?… wish we were in the same local so i could employ/connect you… looking for some connection where you are PP brother.

i don’t know if it’s this post or not…. but Centorian, ‘polemic’?! goodness, i felt as though i was in the midst of Phd thesis juries!

  61. Na’amah,
I can go street level for ya if ya need it but that usually pi$$es a whole ‘lotta people off.

  62. Buster,
It’s not as bad as some may think. the ‘new’ atheists are vocal – especially those I talk with on blogs etc. However, the figure remains at 1 – 2% who actually claim to be atheists. Most of the others are weak agnostics and most are just apathetic non thinkers (at least about religion) who just say that they are not religious or are unaffiliated.

The article was good – thanks.

  63. Em? can i please assign you to several of boards? how clarifying and succint your statement “incorporation has shielded capitalism from it’s natural virtues” is going up on my company’s wall on Monday!

    wisdom is a marvelous attribute!

again…. thank you to your member here at PP that referred me here πŸ™‚ wow, your assessment was RIGHT ON!

  64. Na’amah,

The boy is my first responsibility…so I just need to keep learning and making noise till someone notices.

We’re rapidly running out of time in my estimation.

Thank you for thinking about my employment! πŸ™‚

  65. Em,
I second what Na’amah said…that was an excellent and needed clarification.

  66. Centorian…

lolol they need to be pi$$ed off friend! of course they all ‘need’ to approve your ‘pedigree’ before they even consider you have anything of significance to contribute… and ‘mindless’ Christians are rejected w/out any consideration…. you should see their expressions when they discover i am “one of them”, ooh, Born Again no less!, so fun! lol πŸ™‚ i receive a lot of ‘leeway’ since i am of two (2) that’s two identified political identitities/groups minority and female (soooo stuuuuuupid!) uh oh… and i am a registered Libertarian, not Democratic party member

  67. hi family…just got in. Thank you so much for your prayers.

Things went well today. It is so strange…grandpa and our parents are all gone now and it is just us kids left…cousins…..(yikes, I just realized that now I am the oldest person in my family) now we get to say how things are going to be done… we all get along together…and now with no one around to try to make us choose sides in the family wars that they create…no one left to put wedges between us… …and so we have all agreed that there will be no more stupid petty family wars…

The masons came out tonight to do their service…they did not want to be there the same day as the JW. It was so strange. The aprons with the large blue eye… so odd…. Someone said they reminded him of the Flintstones water-buffalo guys.

Thank you again for all your prayers.

  68. jlo, I don’t think I would have found the courage to go if you had not shown that courage yesterday. you made is look so easy. πŸ˜‰

  69. Na’amah….. at least you are smart enough to see the humor…. some are not 8)

I loved the Flintstones. Barney put up with a lot from Fred but at least Betty was good to him. I never understood why Fred didn’t just jump through the window like the cat did every night when Fred put the cat out. Instead he’d scream WILMA!!!! so that the whole neighborhood could here him. he wasn’t sharpest knife in the drawer.

  70. Michael… do not even go stand on the bridge okay?… i worry “they” may already have you ID’d you all need to understand the tenacles of this evil is within our government systems… from the recent news i am very hopeful the wheels are beginning to come off of the Obamanation… and it is an abomination folks, even though we’ve been hearing this all of our lives… i have too many family members unsaved for the end times to be here…need more time πŸ™‚

Centorian? are you of an identified “group identity” by any chance… sorry, ya sound kinda of “white” to me πŸ™‚ no offense lol, some of my bestfriends are of such hue… ah, but if you’re Black or Hispanic i could use you at street level in the most political of ways w/out compromising your faith! just thinkin’

  71. Michael,

    I am listening …. and I am finding Bowden’s books… Let’s figure out what to do…

  72. BD,

As soon as you have time to read we will talk…if I lived in your city I would be particularly concerned.

The main book I have to find a way to get in peoples hands is the most difficult to find…when a man prophecies a decade before the reality I listen.

I may ship it to you…

    Thank you…

  73. Na’amah ,

I hear you…and about the government, too.

  74. The last time we we there as the day grew late i looked south over the city and the most hellish black dirt storm began to head our way enveloping the city in sections.

I had never seen anything like it, nor care to again.

There was no way we were going to get over the bridge before it overtook us and I was frankly very afraid.

Then rain began to fall from a cloudless sky…as God is my witness…and we walked over the bridge unscathed as the rain washed down the dust.

That cloud is headed our way again and I’m praying for rain.

  75. Dear Dusty, not easy, but with God all things are possible. It was knowing I went the prayers of saints that gave me the courage to go. Even one day later I have witnessed the grace of Christ. God is good, all the time.

  76. Michael,

I think many copies of Bowden’s book are available used… any reason not to buy them?

  77. Na’amah,
I’m Jewish, Irish and French Canadian Indian…. but those aren’t opposed people ….. spare the watch….

  78. after a couple minutes of Michelle … here’s some Bowden…

the sobering report of the slaughter of all the inmates of a drug rehab center this week, gives a picture of the mindset – i don’t know that this man is god, but he certainly has a message

    http://www.democracynow.org/2010/4/14/charles_bowden_murder_city_ciudad_jurez

  79. If you can get “Juarez the Laboratory” used for a decent price grab it.

The other two are new…Murder City and Dreamland…and they are kind of a set.

His other stuff is interesting because he’s a very thoughtful curmudgeon, but not really germane.

  80. Em,

That’s one of my favorite interviews.

He is not a believer…but he is a prophet.

  81. He said he is headed for the Mississippi delta so I will be watching for future releases by him

  82. other than some resource material there isn’t much that one would want to post here on the subject

we here can only add ours to the prayers going up to the Father … IMNSHO – again

God keep all close and comforted

  83. BD,

He wants to do a story about why the best dirt in the world has produced the poorest people in the country…I can’t wait. πŸ™‚

  84. Dusty,

Thanks much for the update! Your Flintstones comment is making me roll on the floor with laughter. We’ve had cars in our family with rust on the bottom, and I always called them the “Fred Flintstone mobile” because Fred used his feet to move the car forward.

    Buster,

Gee. I guess according to Pat, that means SC Gov. Mark Sanford’s ex-wife Jenny was really the one at fault, huh? I guess she should have made herself more attractive despite the fact that she was raising 2 kids pretty much alone and in the limelight of the media, being the Governor’s wife.

Pat Robertson…a true moron…don’t get me started. πŸ™‚

  85. lol Centorian you are a ‘mutt’ that means your intelligence genetics supercedes most of us πŸ˜€ and, Jewish oh,sweetie, that makes you beyond reproach in some political circles… you available for travel if i cover the expense? sorry, i am of devious mind (i remain w/in God’s venue guys i promise… as well as hmmm…Abraham and Sarah was it?)

i cannot help it… i become so bored by the rote/routine dialog that takes place in chambers/on the legislature floor/business mtgs everyone is so PC i get away w alot cause i’m of “color” and “female” the reality is that the issues facing us in this nation, not just CA, has NOTHING to do with RAAAAAACSIM it has to do with opportunity cost

if we do not have the product to tax to support the social programs…there are NO social programs… basic 101 economics seems to be an difficult concept for our legislature to comprehend for some reason i just want to stand in the well of our legislature and just say ” DUH” πŸ™‚

  86. Not to be a stick in the mud, but have any of you ever wondered, what if what we believe is wrong? I understand a true Christian never has doubts, I guess I am not a true Christian.

  87. Brian…

who says the “true Christian” never has doubts? My Lord allows me to ponder the ‘unponderable” πŸ™‚ If He is not beyond my human comprehension, how can He be able to encompass the UNIVERSE?

πŸ™‚ goodness, questions and doubts to me aAre all about our walk… otherwise, we must leave our brains (God bestowed) outs

    Brian,

Who says that a ‘true Christian” does not have doubts or questions? My FATHER allows me to ask all and any questions I may have… πŸ˜€ PLEASE Brian ask your questions, devel into the science (I was premed at UCI prior to accepting Christ) HE is sufficient to all our inquires πŸ™‚ dialog w Stephen Hawkings even πŸ™‚

I was raised to believe Christians are uneducated, mindless and not allowed to think or question πŸ™‚ this is NOT true

and if what be believe is NOT true… it only means we are worm food…. however Brian, if what we to believe to be true is… oh what a glorious ETERNITY

  88. The Pat Robertson quote is horrible. Good advice for any wife to be attractive for her husband but DON’T lay the blame for his flirting on her! Apples and oranges. Ugh!!!

  89. Na’amah, i didn’t mean to ignore your affirmation of my comment on corporations – i was stunned by it – you sure you’re not my oldest daughter? she’s the only one i know that thinks anything i say is worth hanging onto πŸ˜† i’m just a compulsive pontificator

  90. Bri said, “Not to be a stick in the mud, but have any of you ever wondered, what if what we believe is wrong? I understand a true Christian never has doubts, I guess I am not a true Christian.”

I’ve spent my whole life wondering that Brian…and God is Faithful to remind me that He Is…and that I am not God.

  91. Brian,

I question myself a lot…not so much God anymore.

Yes, sometimes I wonder…and doubts are better embraced than denied…thats the only honest way to deal with them.

  92. brian, there are days when i even doubt that i’m nearly 74 years old πŸ˜†

Jhn 6:67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?
Jhn 6:68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.
Jhn 6:69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

they had no idea where they were going, but they knew He was worth following, eh?

  94. sorry – TWIMC – just delete my 98 – and this one

  95. Em,
are you approximately 4’8″, Japanese, bossy (lol, yes) and think i have somehow been brainwashed cause i believe in one God?

    then i’m your daughter πŸ™‚

seriously… it is going up on the wall next to the ubiquitous ‘mission statement’ stuff

  96. Na’amah, we all need brainwashing πŸ˜‰

  97. Now I never felt Christians are uneducated, it was often pointed out how ignorant, willfully self deceived, rebellious, repugnant etc I am but I try not to hold those views of others. First the planet I lived on when I was in fellowship doubt was not tolerated, it was seen as weakness, another vile human trait that is not tolerated. This kind of stuff was not preached, but it soaked the “fellowship”, they wanted “warriors for Jesus” ™. You see it on youtube and paltalk and back in the day on irc and usenet . So they would pile a bunch of horse manure wrapped up in “apologetic tripe” and send us out. Of course we got a new one torn for us, rightfully so. Most normal human adults do not function in this area, but the true blue thrive on this mind numbing rhetoric because it makes you sure. When you reach the end of that rope, you are given the label “God hater”. Because you hate God you are in rebellion and deny Him and His truth. Deny equals questions.

All that aside I think I cling to God because eventually those I work with will find, no have found rest. I have never seen a person healed, not once, but I have seen the spiritual healing of God soak a soul and elevate that person. I cant deny it, even on my life. Now I have never understood why that is demonic emotionalism devoid of any biblical merit but that is also a constant theme in my Christian experience. I dont know if that makes any sense but I cant be the only one here who wants to see Justice for those whom have suffered, even the ones I have personally wronged I want to see justice, I want God’s mercy of course but I want to make recompense for any wrongs I have done, even if unaware. I do hope all of you have a nice day.

  98. Centorian… just need to check referring to you as a ‘mutt’ did not offend i hope?! From your words here i have the distinct impression you are not thin skinned and have a well developed sense of humor…. please accept my apologies if i did offend… the Jewish, Irish components tell me you are part of the backbone of our society… the Irish of our nation leave their lives, fight our wars, build our cities, do what needs to be done and then return to their daily lives and are often politically uninvolved… much more important things to attend to. And as a pastor you have much more important tasks

Are you registered to vote? If you are Liberterian or Republican i could possibly utilize your speaking abilities before a Jewish organization next November, there would be a nominal speaking fee of approximately $500 including room and board… you could bring someone, but their meals will not be covered, i will cover them for you….i cannot promise my suggestion will be accepted, but we are scheduling/planning in the next month (fiscal year ends 7/1) (Black trumps Asian, lolol, the dynamics are so silly… MLK rolls over in his grave over how ‘color’ focus we’ve become!) and i currently have two people trying to decrease my impact on several boards…because i do NOT support our irresponsible fiscal policies.

if i can get you on the agenda, i will need a copy of your resume and curriculum vitae…i believe there is access to my email here my anomynity continues to be a matter of importance since i am involved in CA state court system… we’re not ‘supposed’ to be politically involved… for some reason conservative/libertarian peeps are not trusted to make unbiased decisions πŸ™‚

i would so love to get several of you into speaking venues… since so many of you are already comfortable publically speaking, it will just tickle me to no end having these ‘bubble people’ hear from a completely different POV

oh this is could be so much FUN!

  99. Today is flag day. Please display the Israeli flag if you are a real Christian and an AZ state flag if you are a true American. Thank you.m

  100. Scott, i would, but i don’t have a flag for either of those two πŸ˜•

  101. Scott,
Are you joking? Somehow I don’t think that this holiday was created to show support for foreign governments, or that Christians are obligated to express support for any secular state.

I guess I’m not one of your “real Christians.”

  102. Wow, I am surprised at the lack of patriotism here. Buster, I have been here for 3 years. You know me better than that πŸ˜‰

  103. Sorry… I’m so used to the propaganda…
