Finally today…Pat Robertson thinks Facebook should have a “vomit” button, for things like pictures of same sex couples.
The video has made the rounds as another stab at crazy ol’ Pat as the last bizarre thing he has said.
The problem is that as much as I want to be an awesome, cool, inclusive, non judgmental, guy…those pictures make me a bit queazy myself.
The other night Trey and I were watching one of the few shows we can watch together called “My Cat From Hell”.
It’s about this kitty therapist who helps people whose cats are so out of control that they are ruining the felicity of the home they live in.
He figures out why the cat is acting like a feline criminal and restores peace to all involved.
We tend to root for the cat and think the people are crazy.
The final couple in last weeks episode was a lesbian couple who, (after having their cat issues resolved), joyfully kissed in celebration.
I… was not happy.
We’ll see this more and more…and we will have to respond to it and explain it to our children.
We don’t want to be bigots, nor do we want to teach bigotry to our kids.
We don’t believe that homosexual behavior is right or righteous either.
How do we respond with more tact than Pat but with truth, love, and righteousness?
