Beautiful Saturday and I’m grateful for life health and family -mike Linda Pappas says: January 24, 2015 at 9:48 am Second, What a lovely way to begin this thread. I am grateful for being able to think about all the things that I am grateful for, starting with a cup of half caf to start the day and then to be able to find a place to walk a bit and sit an enjoy God’s creation and meditate upon His Word as He brings it to my remembrance while contemplating the things that are on my plate for this season The Dude says: January 25, 2015 at 8:19 am Cold day…..will be glad when spring comes.I like being outside all day. Linda Pappas says: January 25, 2015 at 8:37 am LOL When I was a kid, I used to long for the snow and ice as it enable me to spend the entire day, from morning until late evening skating, warming up in the shelter and drinking hot cocoa. Funny, don’t remember if I ate anything until I had to go home. Still don’t mind the cold–unless I am sleeping in the car—really bad when you wake up and have this rush to find a place to relieve myself without drawing attention. Being a guy would be a lot easier though. Linnea says: January 25, 2015 at 3:57 pm Linda–I grew up in northern climes and remembered walking to school on 4 foot snow embankments. I have fond memories of walking to a local frozen pond and ice skating with my father. While I enjoy Spring and Summer, I’d trade my hot summer for those frozen winters in the north!
