We’re back…

Phil Naessens and I discuss how pro sports and the church both lapse into tribalism, the need for memorial stones, and the case of reporter Emilio Gutiérrez Soto.

  1. Doing this show with you is the best part of my week!!

    And now we duck 🙂

  2. Phil, I can’t imagine doing this without you…so I don’t.
Glad to have you back and recovering…

  3. Great, I was going through podcasts today & wondered when you would be back.
    Now I know.

  4. Michael & Phil,

You guys are too kind. Really and truthfully, in real life, I’m not nearly as great a guy as you make me out to be. I just try to play one on the internet. 🙂

But Michael, I’m glad that you’re still speaking to me. 🙂

And Phil, can I still razz you about the Mets? 🙂

  5. Kevin,

Of course you can!! As I gain more experience I am realizing how important it is not to be so darn harsh on the mic…….so many kids listen and they look up to me so I need to be more responsible. Does that make sense?

  6. Phil,

Yeah, it makes sense and I think it’s a much better approach than the shock jocks who just say whatever ridiculous thing they want, no matter how harsh or insulting, just to get attention or a reaction.

But you still have my blessing to rip the Mets as much as you would like on the mic. 🙂
