I’m back…with a solo effort.

I’m using the Anchor app to record and it’s available on both iTunes and Google Play for Android.

Hopefully, it will also be available on all the other podcast services by the end of the week.

This week. I’m doing a mini bible study from Genesis and telling you why the Paige Patterson debacle doesn’t have legs…

  1. Hey,

Excellent!! Thanks for the kind words my friend!!

  2. Thanks, Phil.
I really don’t like talking to myself…hopefully I’ll get past that and get the technical stuff worked out.

  3. Scuttling Paige Patterson would be reaping what he has sown. It would be a gotcha denomination being internally more consistent with its own ethos as well. However, In the end it won’t amount to much and no one will be better for the shedding of more blood.

All it will result in is the furtherance of catching people making missteps. The very essence of pharisaical religion is policing people with shame and intimidation. Progressives have caught on and they are the perfect bedfellows for the SBC.

We really do become what we judge… thou that judgest thou doest the same things.

  4. Good stuff Michael. Good format, too. Only issue is the volume of music versus your voice.

Disagree a bit about the dynamics of the Patterson situation, but that guy has been embroiled incontroversy since day 1.

  5. Thanks, Josh…I found the volume issue really annoying as well.

I just have to keep playing with it until i figure out the kinks…and then you and BD can be guests on the program…

  6. Michael

    Nicely done… a new adventure!

  7. Duane,

I’m working through the bugs so it’s ready when you are… 🙂

  8. Ultimately what Paige Patterson has become is his reward. Wait that might be true of all of us.

  9. BD – I pretty much agree with that. I think he is loving this.

Michael – I was already trying to think of what i could call in and stir up 🙂

  10. Hmmm… Between Pastor Dread, Dr. Duane and Josh the B you could have some enlightening (for us) conversations… Well, you’ll enlighten us without them, but… 😊
    Good program, btw

  11. […] My friend and former Calvin’s Corner co-cost Michael Newnham has a podcast and I think it’s going to be a great liste… […]
